Something Better Than Nothing?

โ€ฆone of my favourite weeks of the year has just concluded! ๐Ÿค“ ๐Ÿ“š

โ€

As I begin to digest and process the Institute for Developing Across Differences (IDD) European Lab and Community week, the community of like-minded lifelong learners grows! Iโ€™ll be sharing my insights soonโ€ฆ We had a great panel discussion on a topic very close to my heart. We heard a variety of (contrasting) view points from Darla K. Deardorff, Nagesh Rao, Mai Nguyen, Milton J. Bennett, Maja Nenadovic, PhD, Dr Anjana Singh and Michaela Carriere expertly facilitated by Nadine Binder, PhD (ACC, CPCC) and Melissa Liles. Is something better than nothing? As a DEIB trainer, facilitator and speaker I am constantly treading a fine line - as I believe we all should be!

โ€

๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ Iโ€™d love to hear your ๐Ÿ’ญ โ€ฆ What is our responsibility as practitioners and educators? Do we need to be creative in how we package what we do? Is it creative, deceptive - ethical? Whatโ€™s been on your mind in your context as Iโ€™m painfully aware how different our contexts can be ๐ŸŒ.

โ€

For now, all I am sure of is that itโ€™s my responsibility to do the work myself - and never stop questioning, examining and learning!
